Was listening to this recently. I had reviewed this CD Box set almost 4 years ago, but I decided to delete it do to myself not being happy with it. I have decided to re-review this yet again.

First of all, this Box set is an extremely obscure one and hard to find. I've only seen 3 for sale during the last 5 years: Two on Discogs (Including the current copy for sale.) and one on Priceminister.com. Strange thing is that all the copies I've seen for sale come from French sellers. Which is a bit weird. Considering that this was apparently made and distributed in Belgium. Possibly, some copies where distributed in a few parts around France and maybe even in the Netherlands.

The title of the box set gives away what the music genre is. You got plenty of Trancecore, ravey electronic dance music and some Goa Trance. CD1 is Goa Trance. Some extremely mediocre Goa. Save for track 12 Summer Sky - "Hydromatic Zone" which is a fairy good track. Track 11 "White Rise" is a funny track to listen to. It perfectly demonstrates how amateur the tracks are in general. It sounds to me like a very short demo track done by a bedroom DJ.

CD2 is mostly Trancecore mixed with some Goa elements. Slightly better than CD1. Though still pretty mediocre stuff. Tracks 2 and 3 are a decent listen if you enjoy hardcore techno.

CD3 is an actual compilation CD. Considering the fact that there is a very high chance that the other three CDs were written and produced by the same people despite the slew of different names. A decent selection of Trance tracks from 1996. A lot of these tracks are strangely from Frankfurt Beat Productions which means that pretty much everything in this CD can be found much more easily on other compilations or maxi-singles. The interesting one for me is "Tabla Dream" a nice psychedelic track with Tabla drum samples. Which can only be found on a small handful of compilation CDs. Also, in case your curious about Data Storm - "Traumatic" being a weird Goa mix, it is in fact, the original Extended Mix. The Goa tag is a typo. (Box set also has quite a few other typos as well.)

CD4 is more Goa Trance. Fairy mediocre, Though a bit more polished than CD1. I enjoyed track 4 Flatzum - Goa Trip the most. It has a very cheesy Goa melody, which I really enjoy. CD4 has no really bad tracks. Unlike the other two original CDs which have about 3 crap tracks.

Wouldn't recommend this boxset in the slightest. The original material here screams amateur and the true compilation CD is not great. 2 out of the 4 CDs in this boxset where released separately. CD3 "Trans Tekno Xpres" is worth picking up for the tabla track if you can find a copy cheap. Shouldn't be hard, considering that it's worth about 8 Euros or so.
